Food was plentiful and fresh. Food service area was very clean and appealing. Fried foods had a different taste that is difficult to explain, perhaps oil needs to be changed and a bit more spice. Service was efficient. Only reason not giving this is a five is the dining area needs updating to make it more appealing. Lighting gives this an outdated feel. However, overall good value for the price although soft drinks were an extra charge. First timers use your Yelp 10% off coupon.
Most of the reviews for this place really make me laugh. You can't possibly expect a 5 star restaurant when going to a Chinese buffet. C'mon. Haha! I mean this place is nothing more than what it is and my 4/5 stars is a rating based on a typical/similar type restaurant. So here's the reasons for my 4/5: 1. The buffet area is clean and the food is turned over frequently 2. They offer respectable sushi assortment. One reviewer was quoted as saying her husband is a sushi connoisseur.. Why go to a Chinese buffet if you are that into sushi? Maybe you should try an actual restaurant that specializes in sushi. Just a thought.. 3. The staff is friendly and attentive 4. Reasonable price for what you're getting 5. Low priced to-go options (crab by the pound, etc.) If you're looking for cheap Chinese buffet style food then this is a place you would likely enjoy. Side note: the honey chicken is pretty good.
I really have to disagree with many of you. We think this place is great and the best of all the Chinese buffets in the area. We don't eat fried food or even shellfish, but the Mongolian grill is one of the best. The meats are good quality and the veggies fresh and bountiful. I have two plates of stir fry (I ask for it to be made just with water, no oil or sauce, and it's delicious, low fat and filling), a few pieces of sushi, some of the thin noodle with the egg dish (Singapore noodles), a bunch of fruit, maybe a little soft serve, and I'm done. For $6, it's fantastic. We go here a lot.
